being a first time user and a first timer at attempting this, I am lost!

I am confused after reading the directions a million times, How do I transfer the programs to my new computer?

I don't see anywhere that tells you when or how to connect the old computer to the new, or if the flash drive is all i need to connect to the new?

I have a usb transfer cable but I am not sure if the two computers should be connected from the start, or after the capture process. I would have thought somewhere in the setup directions you would have been more clear about how to deploy the captured programs onto the new windows 7 computer.

If you can help me past the capture process I would greatly appreciate knowing how and when to connect the two computers together (vista>win 7) or more detailed information on how to deploy the captured programs onto the windows 7 computer which came with the os pre-installed and no discs.
