Capture program on Other

Hi Just purchased this and cannot get the program to stay open long enough to complete any task. It takes a while to find all the programs on the laptop but thats ok. the problem is that as soon as it load enough programs and i see the one i want, by the time i look away and back, it suddenly close without any warning and i have to re-open it again and wait for it to rescan. Then it closes again!! very frustrating. Is there something im doing wrong??

PickMeApp startup crash fixed in 3.1.6.0

Classic Shell application or other applications that use %programdata% folder directly , caused PickMeApp to crash during startup.

The issue was fixed in PickMeApp Por 3.1.6.0 and PickMeApp Light 1.3.9.0

Please upgrade to new version of PickMeApp and let us know if it solved your issue.

There is the same problem in version 3.2.0.0, it will close without warning when copying the program

Thank you for sharing the information with us.

We were able to identify and fix an annoying crash in version 3.9.4.0. The problem arises when a shortcut link for a network share folder is not accessible. Who would have known how intricately things are connected in Windows!

Thank you for pointing out for that unclear issue .

The old PickMeApp ID that were valid for free PickMeApp Beta are not valid for paid PickMeApp Light 1.0

Those old PickMeApp ID are left in your accounts so you still may request online support while running old PickMeApp Beta.

We will inform in separate email when such support will end up.
Please consider to upgrade to paid PickMeApp Light 1.0

All paid PickMeApp Light 1.0 users will be eligible for a full version of PickMeApp once it is released.

I just installed and tested it today. It has locked up every time, but the last time it seems to have captured the application. I am running it as administrator currently to test. Any answers. Windows 7 Home Premium.

please try to capture some small application first to confirm that everything is working

Also the preformance depence on speed of a hard disk

for example MS Office 2007 takes 4 hours to capture on laptop with 5400 rpm disks

I wanted to try it to try where pc transfer failed, that's transfering all my applications from a windows 7 64 bit to a Windows 8.1 64 bit computer... :-(

PickMeApp supports windows 7 64 bit to 8.1 64 bit

however the pickmeapp.exe signature was expired recently,
so probably antiviures block PickMeApp exe from running.

Try to add pickmeapp.exe to the white list.

I am trying to migrate my Point of Sales software to a newer computer using PickMeApp. However in the process of the transfer I receive a message; "SysConfigDB;AddNewTable -ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed." I am using SQL Server 2008 database. Help would be appreciated.

It seems some configuration files containing connection information such as connection point or/and credentials are missing

please try to capture and restore the application using advancing features enabled

Could you list a name of the application so we will try to make it on own end.
