I want to retain the programs in the original computer. I cannot figure out how to use the 'Backup' function rather than the 'Move' function

PickMeApp does not uninstall or change the original programs while capturing them.

you may safely use PickMeApp to backup your installed programs by capturing them to  TAP archives.

Later on, you may recover programs from TAP archives on the same or different PC using PickMeApp.
