Hi,

I like Pickemeapp's approach, and have made use of Softrescue before, which is similar to Pickmeapp but very much more comprehensive in its coverage, but has a long standing bug in restoring programs, insisting on putting start menu entries only in the root, and the program folder in [drive]\Program Files\ irrespective of where it was originally.

My most obvious concern with Pickmeapp is that it misses many of my apps.

For example: I have a number of video/media convertors installed, by various companies as above.
Unfortunately I can't see one listed as to be captured.
It would also be helpful to display the number of applications listed.

Why? If one knows how many programs one has installed, one can easily see how many aren't supported by pickmeapp.
Also noted one item PickmeAPP lists as 'Suite' - but I have no program of only that name.
It's something to do with Cyberlink.
Also XnView, KMPlayer, Picpick, WinUtilities are not listed; these are just random observsations, and suggest many apps are not covered.
