Ableton Live 10 Suite is a robust software, containing over 25k files and occupying a substantial 70-80GB of disk space. Transferring it via PickMeApp might prove time-consuming, but rest assured, we're diligently working towards enhancing this process.

Capturing an installed application isn't as straightforward as merely copying files; it's an intricate procedure. PickMeApp employs advanced, patented algorithms to identify all components of an application. These components can comprise files, registries, drivers, system records, and system variables, among others.

Once all of an application's components are detected, they are compiled into a single .tap file. This process of assembling various components can be challenging and time-consuming, especially for sophisticated software like Ableton Live 10 Suite, which comprises more than 25K components.

The speed of this operation may also depend on your computer's disk speed. For instance, on a PC with a slower disk, such as a 5400 rpm (common in many laptops), it may take up to 1.5 times longer than on a PC equipped with a faster disk, like a 7200 rpm.

On the brighter side, once the application is captured, transferring it is relatively quick. The entire set of 25K components can be deployed on a new PC within a few minutes.

We hope this explanation sheds light on some aspects of PickMeApp's performance. We're also actively planning to refine our performance scientifically in future updates, so stay tuned for further improvements.
