PickMeApp extends its functionality and becomes a truly personal application manager.
Now, alongside with programs and settings transfer, PickMeApp helps you
to discover, download and install any of existing windows applications with just a few clicks.

A new version of PickMeApp supports a well known Portable Application Description (PAD) format.

New PickMeApp 0.5.14.9 was released with the exciting feature!

  -Save a captured application as a self extracting installation.
  -Save All captured applications as one self extracting installation!

Also some annoying bugs were fixed, too.

PickMeApp Beta 0.5.13.2  was released. The new version includes the following major improvements.

1. Support 64 Bit Windows XP, Vista , 7
2. Improvements for network profiles.
3. Integration with software promotion.

Also we did some small usability fixes. 

Good news are that Softpedia reviewed and published information about the PickMeApp tool.

In the article "Keep Those Golden Oldies" published in the THE LEDGER, 29 January, 2011,
Lonnie Brown reviews the latest PickMeApp 0.11.5.7 release.

He points out that  "Pickmeapp is still in its infancy."    and  "There will probably be some programs installed on computers that Pickmeapp won't recognize, and therefore won't list as possible candidates for transfer...".  "But it will take care of many programs. When it does, it's a real timesaver."

PickMeApp Beta 0.5.11.7 released :

The version includes

• Bug fixing.
• Windows Vista and Windows 7 support.  
• Network profiles support.

Known Issues: Status of network profiles (located on //Server/share or Net drive) is not monitored.
