Hi - I also have got problems with PickMeApp even when run as Administrator. It just silently closes while populating the list of installed applications. Operating system is Win 7 Ultimate 64bit running on a machine with AMD FX6300 Black on a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard, 16Gb RAM...
I use Avast antivirus, have added the PickMeApp folder and contents to the exclusion list, and also tested with realtime scanning turned off.

It's odd that in the log file it seems to identify the operating system as Vista (urgggh!!!) Could this be anything to do with it?
Any help would be gratefuly received :-)
The error observed in the logs is normal. It should not cause a crash
please send us the logs files to the support email( support @ pickmeapp dot com )
We suspect that PickMeApp Light fails to enumerate some installed applications and fails.
The logs may revile us what was the last installed PickMeApp was able to enumerate
We had similar problem that was fixed in the las beta 0.7.50.
The last time problematic program was "intel widi 4" driver installed on pc .
We would be glad to have an interactive skype session .
our skype is support @ pickmeapp dot com
some additional workarounds
- Redeploy PickMeApp Light to another folder . Make sure that no old PickMeApp process is running in the background. Run PickMeApp Light form new location
- Try to run PickMeApp Light several times, even if it fails. Some user informed us that it worked for him. ( the reason: there is some race condition that may be overpassed in few trials)

hello Yaserco
we have found which feature is causing this problem . As workaround we are going to switch off this minor feature (the first Rule ) in the following version ( right after PickMeApp Light 1.1.1.0 ).
The new release should come before December 18.
After issue will be fixed the feature will be switched on back in following versions.

Hello Yaser,
We are sorry to learn about problems you have experienced while Running PickMeApp Light
Please let us know few things
-What is your windows version Win 7 64bit or different?
-Which antivirus runs on your pc ?
- are you running pickmeapp as administrator (do your user have administrative privileges?)
Last time it happened for some users, their antivirus prevented PickMeApp to access Internet
Can you please add PickMeApp to the white list?
If it does not help can you please send us the following logs
history.xml from the folder were you have put a PickMeApp files.
Logs located on the following directory (windows 10 , windows 7)
Users\<youruser>\AppData\Roaming\PickMeApp\PickMeApp\Logs
Sincerely
