I have licensed PickMeApp Pro and have updated to the latest version, (3.10.0.0).
Installed on a Windows 11 25H2 machine are the following Cableguys -- https://www.cableguys.com -- audio applications:
Cableguys Curve 2.6.3
Cableguys FilterShaper XL 1.0.5
Cableguys HalfTime 1.1.11
Cableguys Kickstart 2.0.8
Cableguys MidiShaper 1.6.2
Cableguys PanCake 2.3.2
Cableguys ShaperBox 3.6.1
Cableguys Snapback 1.1.1
I first captured Curve, and PickMeApp successfully captured it. I then packed Curve, and PickMeUp succesfully packed it. I was then able to move the pack .exe to another system and it installed Cableguys Curve with no issues.
But then I tried capturing the other Cableguys applications, and PickMeApp only creates the same Curve capture file. For example, if I select HalfTime and click capture (making sure Curve is deselected, of course), PickMeApp proceeds to create a capture file named for HalfTime, but it's exactly the same size as Curve and if I pack and move the HalfTime pack .exe, it will install Curve on a target computer.
This makes no sense, as each Cableguys product should capture independently; but instead PIckMeApp will create a Curve capture no matter which application I select for capture.

Dear Jon,
Thank you for the detailed report — this behavior actually explains what’s happening quite well.
In this case, the Cableguys products are not fully independent installations, even though they appear as separate applications in Windows. In many modern software products (especially audio plugins), the vendor artificially separates applications at the UI/marketing level, while in practice they share the same installation engine, core libraries, folders, and registry structure.
What PickMeApp is detecting is that:
That is why:
Recommended solution: Software Suites
In such scenarios, the correct and recommended approach is to use Software Suites, which are designed exactly for vendors like Cableguys where multiple products share common components.
By creating a suite, you capture and deploy the entire product family together, ensuring all shared libraries and dependencies are handled correctly.

Why suites work better here
So while it may look like each Cableguys product should be captured independently, technically they are one shared installation, and capturing them as a suite is the correct approach.
If you’d like, we can guide you step by step in setting up a Cableguys suite capture.
Best regards,
