I am trying to migrate my Point of Sales software to a newer computer using PickMeApp. However in the process of the transfer I receive a message; "SysConfigDB;AddNewTable -ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed." I am using SQL Server 2008 database. Help would be appreciated.

Dear user,

It appears that the settings responsible for the connection to the database were not transferred during the process of migrating your Point of Sales software to a newer computer using PickMeApp. The message you received, "SysConfigDB;AddNewTable -ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed," indicates that during the transfer, an installation action attempted to connect to the database without success, likely due to these missing settings.

To address this issue and provide you with the most accurate assistance, we need more information about the software you are trying to migrate. Please provide the name of the application, its version, and the publisher. This information will help us understand the specifics of your situation better and guide you through the correct steps to resolve this problem.

Best regards,
